Enabling SMEs to develop AI & Data solutions

The AID4SME project (enabling SMEs to develop AI and DATA solutions through support of a Community of Practice and low-TRL and high-TRL playgrounds) will assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop combined Artificial Intelligence & Data Solutions for large scale resource optimisation challenges on industries that have significant impact on the objectives of the Green Deal.

Our goals

Develop a Community of Practice (COP) to support and enable SMEs to develop and deploy combined AI and data solutions.

The primary objective of AID4SME is to create a COP composed of Research Centres and University Groups specialised in AI and data sector, along with relevant industry partners with real AI and data challenges, that will support SMEs to develop solutions, upscale, and overcome the valley of death.

SMEs to develop/deploy, implement and demonstrate minimum 20 AI and data solutions at TRL 6-7.

The secondary objective is to deliver a critical mass of real-life use-case demonstrations of TRL 6-7 solutions for large-scale industrial resource optimisation challenges, to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of European companies. The modular and reconfigurable challenges will be opened for SMEs to develop solutions.

Increase the adoption of combined AI and data technology.

The third objective is to increase the adoption of combined AI and data technology through AI and data hubs, as well as by analysing and dissemination of the performance and impact of the developed solutions
